Privacy and cookie notice
How Sistema onlus uMaS processes the personal data of members, supporters and website visitors, in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
Data controller

What data we process
Identification and contact details (first name, surname or company name, address, phone, email), membership card and fee data and payment references, which you provide when you join, make a donation or write to us.
Why we process it
- registration in the register of members and participation in the life of the association;
- information on the activities of the network and of its member associations;
- replies to requests sent via the contact form;
- accounting, administrative and legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering legislation;
- protection of the controller's rights, including in court.
Who we share it with
With IT and payment service providers, consultancy firms and, where required, the competent authorities. Providers are appointed as data processors under Article 28 GDPR. Data are not transferred outside the European Union.
How and for how long
Using paper and electronic means, with appropriate security measures, for the time needed for the stated purposes and to meet legal obligations.
Provision of data
Providing your data is necessary in order to join: without it we cannot enter you in the register of members.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data and object to processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR) by writing to trattamento@umas.it, and you may withdraw any consent given at any time. In the members' area you can update your details, choose your consents and download a copy of your data. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Cookies
This website does not use profiling cookies or third-party analytics or advertising tools, and the fonts are hosted on our own server. For this reason we do not ask for your consent to cookies.
If you log in to the members' area, your browser stores a technical access code (the browser's local storage) to keep you logged in until you press «Esci» (Log out). Online payments take place on the providers' pages (Stripe or PayPal), subject to their own privacy notices.
In the event of any discrepancy between versions, the Italian text shall prevail.
